After years of descent into creation, refinement, and relentless ambition, the next chapter of Machina Arcana is ready to be revealed.

This new project is both a continuation and an evolution—a bridge between everything you've experienced so far and the new horrors (and wonders) yet to come. Whether you’ve been with us from the very beginning or joined somewhere along the way, none of this would be possible without your support.

In this campaign, we’re:

  • Reprinting the Core game and expansions
  • Introducing Vivarium, a brand-new expansion with innovative mechanics and immersive storytelling
  • And yes… miniatures—meticulously designed and now fully integrated into the experience

EU

Save the best for last. :) The rest of German copies will be fulfilled this week. 

From tomorrow, check for any email with your shipping confirmation from "Fulfillment-Europe".

Normally it takes less than 2  months for  a ship to reach the port, but you guys have endured almost 3 months of delay - when the ship was already  close to its destination. Thank you for being such patient, and polite  human beings.

They've been under a lot of pressure with  not just the scope of products,  and orders  ..but also with providing support to your inquiries.

Then to be fair, we also need to  commend  our shipping partners. Being on top of the ever-changing landscape of worldwide shipping is challenging at best. 


Product quality

We partnered with 3 factories:

Game  mats were produced in China by Treetato studio  / they are also our Chinese localization partner, and with everything seen so far we are  very pleased! Looking forward to continue working with them in the future.


Books (Codex Arcanum, Codex Aeternum) were produced in Lithuania by Standart Impressa. As always, we are very pleased with their products.


Games, sleeves, and dice are produced in China by WinGo Games.

They were with us from the start, and have now produced our games for the third time.

They are always very dedicated to our project. People tend to underestimate the work behind instructing the machines how to produce, and prepare your game boxes for shipment.

The product quality for most of the boxes is awesome, there's no doubt about it.

A better QA on their part is needed.

They can't control issues such as broken boxes, scratches on the cards, and  even to an extent broken plastic trays. But, some issues were preventable. There is a 1mm difference between the cut of the 3rd, and 2nd edition events - not a great thing for the un-sleeved cards from the card update pack. There were boxes with packs of cards missing, some with double packs, and some packs were in a different language.


Customer support tickets

There are a lot of you out there. You will  receive an answer.

At this point we are only collecting and adding the issues into our  system.

We  empathize  - and will do everything in our power to resolve it.

We need to wait  1.5 more weeks (end of fulfilment, and to give backers some time to check their boxes).

Once the tickets are collected, we will find a resolution with the manufacturer. Our biggest priority is that players can play the game with their components.

Fulfilment update

US/Canada

Bridge (US fulfilment company) expects everything to be sent by the end of next week, which is within their original estimate of 3 weeks.

They informed us Canada is planned for Monday, and that it should not take long.


EU

The shipment with the remaining German copies is planned to arrive on the 20th of March.

The container is planned to be unloaded on the 23rd of March.
We will keep you updated about the customs clearance, and delivery.


Australia

The books are still in limbo. We can't wait any longer, and the Australian fulfilment company will receive the signal on Monday to start shipping the rest of the orders.

Once the books arrive, they will be sent separately.


UK

The German fulfilment company will receive the signal on Monday to start shipping the orders to the UK.

They repeated how UK backers won't get charged any fees for <150EUR orders. 

We will not reimburse you for any VAT, customs, import, or other potential fees, and we strongly suggest you ask for a refund today if you are not comfortable with that fact.


Asia

As with Australia, some of the books are still in limbo (and some books are heavily damaged). The Chinese fulfilment company (VFI Asia) will receive the signal on Monday to start shipping the rest of the orders.

Once the books arrive, they will be sent separately.


Rest of the world

The shipping will be from the US, and will commence from the next week.

Update for the UK backers

Another setback in getting the rewards into the UK, and as a result, the UK packages will be sent from Germany (FulfillmentEurope).

The goods are already in the warehouse, and we will start with the shipping on Monday (21st of March).


The representative of the German fulfilment company assured us around the end of January with: 

"If we ship from Germany to the UK no backer has to pay VAT or any other fees if the value is under 150€"

Today, another representative of theirs also confirmed this.


We offer refunds (minus the Kickstarter/payment fees) to UK backers who message us before this Friday (18th of March).

FYI There are no UK publishers, and no UK retailers.
